Author's note: Please remember that although I may cite these people, all opinions are mine, so if you disagree with any assessments in this piece blame me- not them.

Stan Barker- Stan endured Inboxes full of emails from me asking about most everything coaster and park-related.  He helped me learn specifically about coaster research and has served as the "man with all the answers" regarding coaster history.

John Fetterman- John designed the Knoebels Twister and was kind enough to inform me about the few changes the park made to Allen's design and what Frank Hoover said it was like working for Allen & P.T.C.

Tommy Firebaugh (http://tommyfirebaugh.com/cgi-bin/phodex?cat=lakeside)- Tom has some great pictures of Lakeside Park's Shooting Star on his website.  He was nice enough to share all of his information with a stranger.

Derek Gee (http://www.riverviewparkchicago.com)- Derek is arguably the world's foremost expert on Riverview Park.  He helped me with information on Riverview's Jet Stream and Cedar Point's Blue Streak.

Eric Gieszl (http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com)- Eric, the webmaster of the best roller coaster site on the net, has been very supportive of my site and was kind enough to let me write URC's history section.

Scott & Carol Holmes (http://www.aceonline.org)- Scott & Carol, a.k.a. "the Acers," provided me with an issue of Rollercoaster! that would have taken some time to procure and are some of the best ambassadors of "coaster good will" I have had the pleasure to meet.

Bob Hooley (http://hometown.aol.com/Bobcoaster/index.html)- One of Mister Twister's most adamant fans, Bob was kind enough to talk about the Elitch Gardens ride, the Knoebels ride and how the two compared.

Jeff King- Jeff provided several issues of Rollercoaster! to someone he had never met and talked all about the Screamin' Eagle with me.  You know someone loves a coaster when they can remember the radio commercials from a coaster's first season.  It is one thing for someone to spend time and effort with friends, but Jeff was nice enough to give his time to a complete stranger who shared only a love of coasters.

Barry Kumpg, the General Manager at Lakemont Park (http://www.lakemontparkfun.com)- Barry was kind enough to provide me with an image of the info.  He was very kind and one of two park reps. who responded to my requests.  With the historical Leap the Dips, the Mad Mouse (moved from White Swan Park) and the Skyliner, the park is full of coaster history.

Gary Kyriazi- Although I owe my obsession to John Allen, it was Gary's works that got me started.  His book, The Great American Amusement Parks, and video, America Screams, drew me into the world of roller coaster obsession more than I thought possible.  In addition, he spent an afternoon talking with me about everything he experienced as both an enthusiast and a historian and I thank him for it.

Shawn Mamros- Shawn helped me find an older Rollercoaster! article on Nashville's Skyliner coaster.  Without it I would have had very little info. on this demolished ride.

John Moyer- John helped with the Phoenix's move and is an avid supporter of Knoebels and its history.  He supplied me with info. for this piece and my history series for Ultimaterollercoaster and one of the nicest people I have corresponded with.

Tally Rhodes, the Public Relations Director at Lake Winnepesaukah (http://www.lakewinnie.com/)- Tally was one of two park representatives who responded to my inquiries.  Just like the park, Tally was very friendly and obviously very proud of the coaster.  A big thank you for responding to my questions and for all your help.

Mark Rosenzweig- I am sure Mark does not like visiting parks with me because I never stop asking him questions about flat rides, carousels and everything he knows more about than me.  Here he provided me with Zingo info., but over time has told me millions of nuggets about park and ride history.

Joe Schwartz (http://www.joyrides.com)- Joe is known for his wonderful coaster and park photography.  For a web author like myself, his site is great as I can (and did) link to several coaster images for use as in-text references.  For amazing roller coaster photos, Joyrides cannot be beat.

Robert Ulrich (http://www.playride.com/)- Robert provided me with much of the Great American Scream Machine's information on structure, rolling stock and restraints.  His website is the best you will find on Six Flags over Georgia- be sure to check it out.

Research & editing were done primarily to the Rolling Stones, David Gray and Groove Armada.  Editing was primarily done to Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Vivaldi & Moby.
