Welcome to our little spot on the web. The purpose of this site is
to act as a sort of information center for different articles,
photos and postcards which depict Coney Island and other
traditional amusement parks to help today's amusement park
visitors and enthusiasts understand what has come before the world
of amusements today. I hope that through reports of my
visits and interpretations readers can come away from this site
with a new or deeper appreciation for amusement park parks and
their rich, colorful history.
This site is divided into four main areas, Coney Island, Park Industry & History, Trip Reports and Roller Coasters & Carousels. Obviously my main love is "the Island," but I have writings here also talking about the state of traditional parks today and when all is said and done, hope to have many pages allowing you to see many unique, traditional parks and some good examples of quality theme parks.
