             The Billboard was the voice of the outdoor amusement industry (and still is as Amusement Business).  Coney Island was such a mecca of entertainment that it was not uncommon to get regular reports back from the area on a weekly basis.  For much of the Twenties this column was called "Coney Island Chatter."  This is just a round-up of people and places on the island that W.D. Van Volkenberg talked to.  Enjoy this great trip back in time.
